MISSISSIPPI

The Mississippi Ethics Commission administers and enforces the Ethics in Government Act.
The Commission's primary roles are to receive Statements of Economic Interest for filing by public officials and candidates, process sworn complaints and investigate alleged violations of law by public servants, and to issue written advisory opinions to public servants regarding the conflict of interest laws.
