<li> Jurisdiction extends over 35,000 county and municipal officials and employees</li>
<li> Nine full-time employees by the end of 2000</li>
<li> The Ethics Commission is composed of five members and each serves staggered terms of four (4) years:</li>
<li><ul>
<li> Chief Judge of the 11<sup>th</sup> Judicial Circuit appoints two of the members;</li>
<li> the Dean of the <a href="http://www.law.miami.edu/"><b>University of Miami</b></a> School of Law and the Dean of <a href="http://www.stu.edu/"><b>St. Thomas University</b></a> <a href="http://www.stu.edu/lawschool/">School of Law</a> share in one appointment;</li>
<li> the Director of <a href="http://education.fiu.edu/centers.htm">Florida International University's</a> Center for <a href="http://www.fiu.edu/%7Eclrs/">Labor Research</a> and Studies appoints one member; and </li>
<li> the <a href="http://www.miamidadeleague.org/">Miami-Dade League of Cities</a> appoints one member<br></li>
