Ethics Idol
It's not easy to make ethics training enjoyable, so it's good to see how other people have tried. According to <a href="http://www.hreonline.com/HRE/story.jsp?storyId=209480118" target="”_blank”">an
article in </a><span><a href="http://www.hreonline.com/HRE/story.jsp?storyId=209480118" target="”_blank”">Human
Resource Executive</a>,</span> Cisco Systems came up with a parody of
<i>American Idol</i>, with parody songs about ethics situations and three
judges critically discussing each song/situation.<br>

A big computer company could afford to do Ethics Idol as an animated,
interactive computer game. But the fun and the interactivity are things
even a local government could employ. The result was a heightened
interest in ethics, almost 100% readership of the firm's new ethics
code, and a few laughs.<br>
