<h2>PKS prods govt over antigraft drive</h2>

<p>Wrapping up its week-long national conference on Sunday, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) criticized President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's administration for its less than satisfactory performance in fighting corruption and enforcing the rule of law.

However, the party also said that the policies being carried out by the current administration were still tolerable as the economy was not reverting to pre-crisis conditions.

Albert Robles, the charismatic and volatile South Gate treasurer who dominated politics in the small, blue-collar city during two tumultuous years, was convicted Thursday of soliciting more than $1.8 million in bribes from bidders on municipal contracts.<br />

It's time to erect a red light at door to the green room

The [Jacksonville] City Council's now notorious green room had members of the city's Ethics Commission seeing red earlier this week. Well, if not exactly red, pretty darn close.

The commissioners were reacting to news reports about how the green room is used, or perhaps abused.

The room is adjacent to the City Council chambers and is accessible through the chambers and through a side door at the front of City Hall that is locked.
